Surrey Healthy School Award
At Darley Dene, we are currently working towards achieving our Surrey Healthy School status.
What is Surrey Healthy Schools?
Surrey Healthy Schools is an opportunity for schools to actively promote the health and wellbeing of the whole-school community. It is a commitment to promoting personal, social and health development and support the links between health, behaviour and achievement. - successful in supporting pupils to do their best and build on their achievements; it is committed to ongoing improvement and development;
- recognises the importance of investing in health and wellbeing to assist in the process of raising children and young people's achievement levels;

How are we working together to achieve this?
Mrs.Webb (HSLW) and Miss Legg (PSHE and PE lead) are working together to complete this and putting together new initiatives to improve our provision in supporting and promoting the physical, social, emotional and mental health of our community here at Darley Dene. Over the next few months, we will be seeking support from our families to help us achieve this award.
